Back in Inverell for the highly anticipated 2025 October tournament! 2023 marked a monumental moment as the cup returned to its original home, Inverell, where it all began back in 2010. After years away in Hervey Bay and Lismore, the action-packed competition is set to reignite the fields of Inverell with more excitement and talent than ever. The 2024 event has attracted a record number of 64 teams for the host town
The 2025 tournament will be kicking off Thursday 2nd of October and will finish Sunday 5th of October 2025. This year's tournament is again poised to create new unforgettable memories, as some of the best youth footballers from around the country converge on the Inverell Sporting Complex, featuring 8 full-size fields perfect for fast-paced action. But the thrills don't stop there. The Rale Rasic Joeys Mini World Cup isn't just any tournament-it's an opportunity like no other, to be selected for a once-in-a-lifetime German football tour!
For the U14/15s female only, U14s, U16/17s combined, Open Women and a coach categories, the stakes are high.
Four players and one coach will embark on a paid playing and coaching football tour of Germany in June/July 2025, while 44 more players will receive $1,000 towards the 2025 Football Tour. Another three coaches will receive a $2,000 contribution to also take part in this football dream tour to one of football’s global powerhouses.
As always, the Rale Rasic Joeys Mini World Cup goes above and beyond in rewarding participants.
Players will receive a full playing kit, a cup t-shirt, a back sack, a tournament booklet, and of course, medals and trophies. Teams walk away with match balls, while coaches and managers earn the coveted Rale Rasic Joeys Mini World Cup jacket's—a true badge of honour!

Jens Kiefer Bundesliga coach and Head of player selections for the 2026 Football tour of Germany, is returning to this year’s event after making his first appearance at the 2024 tournament. Jens Kiefer will be joined by Petra Hauser, one of the most capped players in German female Bundesliga history. Petra is joining as a player, selector and coach for the 2025 tournament given you an another reason to attend the event. Petra will be joined by her partner Joerg Schemberg a player agent who will also be on the selection panel for the 2026 Football Tour of Germany.
